In September, the film series “arsenal at location” at Hamburg’s B-Movie cinema will feature BERLIN as a city captured on film in an extensive program. The program includes “GRENZPUNKT BETON” (2015) & “STRICHE ZIEHEN” (2014), two films by Gerd Kroske. Screenings on September 14, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Followed by a Q&A with guest Gerd Kroske.

Info: Two films by Gerd Kroske grapple with the remains of the Berlin Wall: in GRENZPUNKT BETON (Germany 2015) as a zone of commemoration, in STRICHE ZIEHEN (Germany 2014) as the location of an artistic intervention at the Wall in 1980s, which carried political consequences.
